Introduction 

The Red Fort of Delhi is a famous historical building. This fort was built in 1648 AD by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. The Red Fort is one of the great historical monuments in India. It is located in the center of Delhi (New Delhi). It was built by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan. Delhi was the capital of the Mughals until the Mughal emperor, Bahadur Shah Zafar, was expelled by the British government in 1857. It is situated on the banks of river Yamuna. When and under whose rule was the Red Fort built?
